Hello! I'm Mrs. Techonia Griffin, Texas Certified Teacher with 28 years of experience, as well as, English as a Second Language Certification.

During my career, I have had the pleasure of teaching Pre-K 3-year-olds, Pre-K 4-year-olds, Kindergarten, First Grade, Second and Third Grade Intervention, and Reading Recovery. These teaching assignments afforded me the opportunity to work in both urban and suburban school districts, which allowed me to educate some amazing students!

Additionally, I homeschooled my own children, which was a blessed adventure! As a mother, I was able to spend a vast amount of time pouring into them as much as I could educationally using various resources, which made for (I feel) a well-rounded education. And, I'll always treasure that time!

 

I am also a proud wife to a wonderful husband and mother to three amazing young adults. My daughter is a University of Houston graduate and is now working as an educator, my oldest son is pursuing his degree, and my youngest son recently graduated from Lubbock Christian University and has started his first job.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, reading voraciously, going for long walks, and supporting my children in their endeavors.
