FFP is a Texas licensed preschool that began in the spring of 2021. I am a former teacher who has decided to utilize the wealth of knowledge I've gained through the years and start my own preschool, hence FFP.
At FFP, the belief is a firm foundation must be laid prior to beginning formal school in order to ensure success. Education has evolved in the past several decades and there are greater expectations for little ones entering formal school. If you want your child to excel in the classroom and beyond, you should consider FFP.
In my pre-kindergarten and kindergarten teaching experiences, I noticed many students were not prepared for school. And, it wasn't because they were not bright and eager to learn, but because the foundation of learning the basics was not laid. We will ensure at FFP that students are "kindergarten ready."
Moreover, FFP offers a nurturing environment where your child will feel right at home, literally, in a homeschool environment, as well as, be challenged to soar academically. FFP is different from a daycare center in that it boasts a small student-teacher ratio and Texas certified teacher educating your child, something that a daycare center cannot offer. This is extremely important because a smaller class allows more individualized attention, which leads to greater student success! And, being taught by a teacher who is knowledgeable of the state's standards for kindergarten is a bonus because the little ones will be well prepared for kindergarten.
I am a mother and a teacher, and know first hand what it feels like to release your precious little ones to an unknown individual. At FFP, we understand the strong parent-child relationship and work to ease the transition for the family as the child is acclimated to school. During my teaching career, my philosophy was to always treat my students as I would want my own children treated when I was not around. Rest assured, your child will be treated as if they are my own.
